Lola Goldstein
Beyond cute. It's the only way to describe the creations of Lola Goldstein. They are made from white earthenware clay, handglazed and finished. These little guys traveled all the way from Argentina -- it was definitely worth the trip. It's hard to choose a favorite: Friend in a Nut, Tiny Spice Jar, Egg Breakfast Set, or Salt and Pepper -- they're all fantastic! Available in the shop and here in our webshop.

La Lutine
La Lutine rings are made from a unique blend of shell and resin creating a look that is delicate and shimmering but deceptively strong enough for everyday wear. Slightly stretchable bands made from industrial grade rubber are attached to the rings using an elastic cord, making for a ring that fits more than one finger size.

The Bubble Roome & Pure Altitude
We are extremely excited to add bodycare to our assortment here at egg mercantile! Our shipment of The Bubble Roome lotions and soaps arrived as well as our order of Pure Altitude bodycare balms and lotions. 2 different lines for double the goodness!
The Bubble Roome (created by David E Johnston) makes natural soaps in small batches with the most amazing scents (Clementine-Cedarwood, Fennel-Anise, Grapefruit-Tangerine, etc).
No synthetic preservatives, dyes, or scents -- and no animal testing. What's not to love?? I can't even describe how amazing these products are making the shop smell!

We saw these wee bags in Paris. Made by Les Ailes du Biloba, they are useful as either a casual shoulder bag for the essentials on a day or night out... or worn around the waist to keep things close at hand. Colorful printed linen with a hand painted Russian Matryoshka style pin to use as a closure or just as decoration. And, due to popular demand, we are also selling the pins separately.

new scherning jewelry
Yesterday we received our new order of Scherning porcelain & sterling silver jewelry. In addition to receiving replenishment on the styles we already had, we have 2 new pieces: the bracelet and the double earrings.
Mette Scherning's jewelry is all made by hand -- no 2 pieces are the same. She creates porcelain disks which are hand decorated and then paired with sterling silver hardware... the final product is very delicate in appearance and quite unique.
